M. ESTELA POETZINGER, MAI(Qualifications)
M. Estela Poetzinger is Co-founder / President and Chief Appraiser for Meritus Appraisal Partners. Prior to forming the company, she accumulated nearly 20 years of appraisal experience in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.
Ms. Poetzinger has earned the prestigious MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute, the highest honor bestowed upon a real estate valuation professional. Her competency stretches across all major building types and many special-use properties. Aside from her accolades as a commercial appraiser, she also has years of experience in property management and residential appraisal.
She has completed assignments for various clients, such as financial institutions, attorneys, government agencies, and private individuals, among many others. Sample report purposes include financing, insurance, tax appeal, litigation support, eminent domain, and various consulting assignments.
Over the past seven years, Ms. Poetzinger has successfully completed over 320 hours of Appraisal Education. This showcases her commitment to upholding appraisal standards and gaining an understanding of complex methodology. She has obtained special educational competency by completing Appraisal Institute professional development programs for Litigation and Valuation of the Components of a Business Enterprise.
Estela is an alumna of Otsego High School in Tontogany, Ohio. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in English from the distinguished St. Olaf College (Northfield, MN), which consistently ranks among the top liberal arts schools in the country. She resides in Bowling Green with her husband, Michael, and two children, Elijah and Alison. Estela enjoys spending time with her family, travel, college football, reading, and playing piano. She is also a Licensed Realtor, specializing in sales and leasing of commercial property.
KYLE J. KUNDRATH
(Qualifications)
Kyle Kundrath handles business operations, appraisal, and data management, among other responsibilities for the company. He is a Certified General in the State of Ohio and is experienced with apartment, industrial, land, office/retail, and several other specific property types.
He has spent over 14 years in the appraisal business. Previous experience includes work in the residential, commercial / industrial, and eminent domain / right-of-way fields, serving multiple years in each area. His job duties have been all-encompassing, including research, appraisal production, and project management.
Kyle comes from a banking and real estate family. In addition, he has compiled nearly 400 hours of Appraisal Education in the past seven years, demonstrating his view on the importance of staying up-to-date with the latest valuation research and techniques.
Upon graduation from Rossford High School, he enrolled in the College of Business at The University of Toledo. Kyle graduated with honors as a double-major in Finance and Organizational Leadership and Development, with a minor in Business Law.
A lifelong Northwest Ohio resident, he currently resides in Bowling Green. Kyle enjoys sports, finance/investing, and health/fitness.
